We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our early team. Someone who is deeply technical and passionate about the untapped creative possibilities of generative AI with a focus on Dreambooth applications. Someone who lives on the bleeding edge of ML research and also finds inspiration in photography, design, and beauty. You see technology not only as a tool for problem solving, but as an instrument for expression. You will be on the frontier of a rapidly evolving technology, creating techniques and workflows that delight our customers.

• Actively working with and experienced with Diffusion models and HuggingFace libraries (Diffusers / Transformers)
• Past work showing creative uses of Machine Learning
• An interest and appreciation of compelling visuals, beauty, and aesthetics.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills with an ability to rapidly prototype ideas and refine towards production.
• Ability to adapt existing innovative ML models and train/fine-tune models in novel settings (for example to improve outputs for a group of users)
• Experience with data manipulation and data pipelining.
• Ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, and leadership
• Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and working in a rapidly changing environment.
• Passionate about new technology and desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Highly collaborative and proactively seeks out feedback to incorporate into your work.

Our projects and priorities will change as we explore and iterate. Here are some of the examples of things you’ll be working on:

• Improving image generation quality (Aspect ratios, upscaling, variety) all while remaining true to our core value of authentic AI
• Workflows to modify an existing image in some manner (changing backgrounds, expressions, colors and achieving a consistent image across Dreambooth models)
• Fine-tuning experiments to adjust hyperparameters, training approach validation and a systematic way of improving results for users

Today we are two co-founders and a senior Engineer who is also our ML Operations lead. We are growing our team slowly and intentionally

• Marko Jak (Co-Founder) is an entrepreneur and product builder who has been building B2B and B2C products for over 10 years. He has been building products in Artificial Intelligence since 2014. Previously co-founder at Overscore AI (exit in 2016) and co-founder at nFold AI (shutdown 2019) he
• Alex Kotliarsky (Co-founder and CTO) is a multi-disciplinary engineer who has built products that millions of users have used. Previously at Meta he was part of the React Native core team and built products like the Oculus VR App and Desktop Messenger app. He has held various positions as Principal Engineers, iOS Developer. Alex is unique in his ability to balance exquisitely crafted products that just work while moving quickly.
